- Tandem cell fabrication
Most promising process for tandem cell fabrication established on pilot line (D2.3, M43 - May 2026)
This deliverable reports on the setup and optimisation of a perovskite–silicon tandem cell pilot line, focusing on high-throughput, mass-production–relevant fabrication routes implemented on M10 wafer-scale processes. Process innovations from consortium partners were systematically integrated and evaluated to identify robust and scalable manufacturing sequences suitable for industrial application. The results show a strong and continuous learning curve, leading to the establishment of a stable baseline for tandem cell fabrication with consistently high efficiencies and low batch-to-batch variability, demonstrating the pilot line’s effectiveness as an integration platform for process screening and selection of the most promising manufacturing route for scale-up.
