Methodology for production of self-assembled HTL or ETL (D6.5, M26 - December 2024)
In the field of perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells, Self-Assembled Monolayer (SAM) molecules have emerged as promising Hole Transport Layer (HTL) materials due to their ability to form ultra-thin, highly ordered layers that enhance charge extraction, improve device stability, and reduce production costs. Developing a robust methodology for the production of SAM molecules is essential to ensure their effectiveness and scalability for use in commercial tandem solar cells. DYE has created a scalable platform for the production of SAM HTL molecules for the pilot line development at QC.
