SFGP Webinar

A webinar on “Recovery of metals from photovoltaic perovskite technologies”, organised by the French Society of Chemical Engineering (SFGP), will take place on Friday, 26 June 2026, from 10:00-12:00 CEST. It focuses on metal recovery as a key lever of the circular economy and highlights recent scientific advances in metal recycling from waste streams, including electronic waste and photovoltaic technologies.

Perovskite-based photovoltaic cells open up new prospects for European industry, but raise environmental concerns due to the presence of lead. INERIS, who will represent PEPPERONI during the webinar, explores environmental impacts, the regulatory classification of waste, and recycling solutions enabling the recovery of strategic metals.
