As PEPPERONI advances in developments of perovskite/silicon tandem photovoltaic technology, the consortium prepares for its 3rd General Assembly to be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Hosted by partners from the Laboratory of Photovoltaics and Optoelectronics at the University of Ljubljana, this event will unite consortium members to review the project’s progress, address challenges, and plan the next steps.
The agenda is packed with key discussions and activities. On Thursday, 23 May 2024, the event begins with a lab tour led by Prof. Marko Topic and colleagues, followed by afternoon sessions with a welcome message from the local hosts. Fabian Fertig will open the official part of the meeting by presenting the overall project status.
Scheduled sessions promise to be comprehensive and engaging, focusing on several key areas:
- Progress updates on tandem solar cell and module development,
- Advances in manufacturing tools for pilot production,
- Innovations in tandem cell process integration,
- Techniques for module integration of high-efficiency tandems,
- Strategies for improving material scalability,
- Ensuring reliability through rigorous indoor and outdoor testing.
In addition to these technical discussions, the assembly will also feature sessions on communication and dissemination practices, as well as effective project management methodologies. These discussions aim to enhance collaboration and ensure the successful delivery of project objectives.
We look forward to the fruitful exchanges and the collective efforts that will continue to drive the PEPPERONI project towards its goals. Stay tuned for more insights from the project and its advancements after the General Assembly.
